What would you be doing?
Depending on the center, our volunteer tutors either provide one-on-one instruction or small group work, providing the individualized instruction that is essential for our students. In all cases, tutors work with our paid staff assigned to each center.
Time Commitment
The initial commitment is one session per week (each session is about 2-1/2 hours) for approximately 13-17 weeks. We have daytime and evening opportunities, Monday through Friday.
Volunteer Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a High School diploma or GED.
Must have or be willing to set up an email account since most communication will occur in this method.
Must attend our two-part, six-hour free orientation and training series.
Should have a caring attitude, and be creative, patient, understanding and open to new experiences.
Location
We have 28 learning centers throughout the Denver metro region. We will do our best to assign you to a location convenient to you.
